General

Under the term 'Security Modes', different methods for protection of a Transfer are unified. The already existing modes 'QUICK' and 'One-Time-Password' as well as the new security mode 'Electronic Identity'. Detailed information about the new security mode can be found in the chapter 'Electronic Identity (eID)'. With the introduction of Security Modes, existing navigation items have been re-arranged and settings for the One-Time-Password mode and QUICK have moved to the section 'Security Modes'. Please find detailed information about the changes in the corresponding update notes. The respective sub-sections are described in the following chapters.

Default Preset

This section contains controls for setting the policy preset which security modes will be activated for new policy rules and which mode is the default mode. For detailed information, see the chapter Security Modes Default Preset.

One-Time-Password

This section contains the controls for setting the available password modes (Manual, Generated or No Password) when using the mode 'One-Time-Password'. For detailed information, see the chapter Security Mode: One-Time Password.

QUICK

This section contains controls to perform or administer QUICK activation as well as password modes for invitational QUICK transfers. For detailed information, see the chapter Security Mode: QUICK.

ID Provider

This section contains controls to configure Signicat credentials and if senders should be required to identify themselves. For detailed information, see the chapter Signicat Authentication.
