Applies  to:

Cryptshare Appliance with openSUSE 13.3 and higher

Symptom:

After upgrading to openSUSE 13.2 the log-rotation Cronjob is inactive.

Cause:

OpenSuSE has failed to reactivate the cronjob after the update is finished.

Solution:

Please log in to the appliance and execute the fixing script.

How to reactivate the LogRotation Cronjob
  1. Log in to the appliance with PuTTY and the root credentials.

  2. Copy the following command line

    wget -O- http://update.cryptshare.com/cryptshare/scripts/fixLogRotation.sh | sh


  3. Paste it to the PuTTY-Window and execute.
